Why 7.45 is not 7 hours 45 minutes
7.45 decimal hours is 7 hours and 27 minutes. Mixing the two formats is the most common timesheet mistake: at $20 an hour, paying 7.45 instead of 7.75 loses $6.00 on that one day.
